The green streets of the Střešovice district have always been a symbol of a quiet residential area with many opportunities for sports, even President Václav Havel once lived here.

 

ENTERTAINMENT AND SHOPS

Life in upper Střešovice is made more pleasant by a newly opened cafe with a bakery, a butcher with groceries and a small restaurant in the street. The convenience store is located on the main Střešovická street, about 200m from the house. The pleasant Bistro Andělka, which is adjacent to the Tatran Střešovice sports ground and the school, also offers the organization of private events. The department store is available at the Bořislavka metro station and at Smíchov.

 

TRANSPORT

Due to the small population density in the immediate vicinity of the villa, you can park on the street without any problems. Access to public transport is ensured by trams No. 1 and 2, which are available approx. 200 m from the house.

 

CHILDREN AND THE COMMUNITY

Small children will appreciate the proximity of two parks with playgrounds and a safe, quiet road near the house. There is a selection of state and private schools and nurseries in the immediate vicinity, and in Starostřešovická street there is a children's group and the Scout association. Sporting activities for older children are ensured by a number of covered and open Tatra playgrounds, beach volleyball courts, Střešovice tennis courts, SK Střešovice soccer field and Petynka swimming pool.

Community events are organized by the local association and children and adults meet at street festivals, witches, Christmas and other events. Local culture also revolves around the local butcher, who organizes regular butchers with live music.

 

WALKS

In the immediate vicinity, you can take a walk through the picturesque streets lined with impressive villas and enjoy the variety of cafes and small shops. Walks in the eastern direction to the Max van de Stoel park with a water playground and a pond will lead you to the castle and the Petřín Gardens. With a longer walk towards the west or with the help of trams, you can reach Hvězda Forest Park and Ladronka Park.

 

HEALTHCARE

From the west, the Střešovická district is flanked by the Military Hospital with an emergency room, a polyclinic and a pharmacy.
